Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect your personal information.
Last updated: 4 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information 24/7 Graduate Business Incubator and Employment Hub Ltd. ("we", "us", "the Hub") collects through this website, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. We are based in Bamenda, Cameroon. By using the site you accept the practices described here. If you do not agree with them, please do not submit your details.
1. What we collect
Information you give us
- Application form: your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, city or town, details of your startup or business (name, stage, sector, team size, registration status, website, funding sought, summary, achievements), the university or institution you attended and graduation year, and any documents you upload such as a business plan, pitch deck or financial statements.
- Contact form: your name, email, phone number, topic and message.
- Partner form: your name, email, phone number, organisation, the way you want to help and your message.
- Live chat: your email address, your name if you give it, and the messages you send.
Information collected automatically
- IP address and technical data. Our servers record your IP address and basic request information to keep the site secure, limit abuse and make live chat work. A live chat conversation is tied to the IP address it started from.
- Browser storage. The site stores a small amount of information in your browser, such as your cookie choice and live chat session. See our Cookie Policy.
- Analytics (only with your consent). If you accept analytics cookies and analytics is switched on for the site, Google Analytics collects anonymised usage data such as pages visited and device type.
2. How we use your information
- To review applications, assess eligibility against our selection criteria, and run screening, pitches and the incubation programme.
- To reply to your messages, partner requests and live chat conversations.
- To match founders with coaches, mentors and advisers, and to make introductions you ask for.
- To keep the site secure, prevent spam and misuse, and fix technical problems.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it, where you have agreed to analytics.
- To meet legal obligations and to protect our rights.
We rely on your consent (for example when you tick the box on a form or accept analytics cookies), on what is needed to respond to your request or application, on our legitimate interest in running and securing the Hub, and on legal obligations. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
3. Who sees your information
Your details are available to the Hub staff and reviewers who need them. We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- with service providers that help us run the site, such as hosting, database, email delivery and, if enabled, analytics, who may only use it for those services;
- with mentors, advisers or selection panel members who help review or support your application;
- with investors, employers or partners only when you ask us to or agree to an introduction;
- when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and property of the Hub, our users or others.
4. Documents you upload
Files attached to an application are stored in a private location that is not publicly accessible. Only signed-in administrators can open them. If we delete an application, its uploaded files are deleted too. Please do not upload anything you are not allowed to share, and avoid uploading identity documents or other sensitive personal data unless we specifically ask for them.
5. International transfers
Our hosting and email providers may process data on servers outside Cameroon. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information remains protected.
6. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to follow up on an application, run a programme, keep records or meet legal requirements. After that we delete it or make it anonymous. Live chat conversations are kept so we can follow up and are removed when no longer needed.
7. Security
We use measures such as access controls, protected admin accounts, private storage for uploaded files and rate limiting on public forms. No online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your own devices and email accounts secure.
8. Your rights
Under the data protection laws that apply to us, you may have the right to ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that is wrong or out of date;
- delete your information, or restrict how we use it;
- stop using it for a particular purpose, and withdraw a consent you gave.
To exercise these rights, write to us through the contact page, choosing the topic that fits, or use the email address shown in the footer of this site. We may need to confirm your identity first. You can also complain to the data protection authority in Cameroon if you believe your rights have not been respected.
9. Children
This website and our programmes are intended for graduates and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Links to other sites
Our pages may link to other websites, such as social media pages or event registration links. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices.
