The Incubation Process
Your journey from application to graduation.
Your journey from application to graduation
The incubation process is a clear path with defined stages, so you always know where you stand and what comes next. The length of each stage depends on your venture and the programme you join, and we confirm the details with you at screening.
- ApplySubmit your venture through the online application portal with a clear summary of the problem you solve.
- ScreeningOur team reviews every application against the eligibility and selection criteria and may ask follow-up questions.
- PitchShortlisted founders present their venture to our panel and answer questions about the team, the market and the plan.
- OnboardingAccepted ventures agree goals, are matched with coaches and mentors, and get access to training and workspace.
- MilestonesYou work towards agreed targets such as customer validation, a working product, first revenue or funding readiness, with regular reviews.
- GraduationWhen you have met your milestones you graduate from the programme as a business ready to stand on its own.
What happens at each step
You will hear from us by email after you apply. Screening and the pitch are there to understand your venture and decide how we can help most, not to catch you out. Once you are onboarded, your goals and milestones are written down and reviewed with you so progress is visible.
Graduation
Graduation is based on results rather than time served. It means that the venture has met the milestones agreed at onboarding and has the foundations to operate independently: a validated product or service, paying or committed customers, sound records and a plan for the next stage.
Support after graduation
Graduating does not mean being on your own. Alumni stay part of the community, can keep using our coaching, mentorship and advisory services, and are invited to events and investor introductions.
